Deuteronomy 6-10
Today's reading was about the Israelites and Achan, how he took money even though God told him not to. And he was killed because of his disobedience.

Deuteronomy 16-20
There were more commands from God in these chapters and rules about how to live, some of them I disagree with but God is perfect and even if I disagree with them I still trust God and know that he knows what's best. We should always trust God even if that means doing something we don't want to, or we don't think is the best way.

Deuteronomy
In the beginning of these chapters God reminded them that they were still under his control and that he would discipline them just as he had disciplined their fathers. Our relationship with God is love on his part and obedience on ours, we can't just say "Jesus did everything let me go back to my old life" no, we need to read the bible and try to obey him.

Numbers 31-35
Today's reading was about the Israelites when God told them to kill the Midionites. God blesses the people who obey him and this time the Israelites did obey him and God blessed them through their obedience. Moral of the story, trust and obey God and you will live a long fruitful life.......in Heaven.

Numbers 26-30
When the women came to Moses and asked him for their father's possessions I thought that God would be angry with them, again I was wrong. God made all of these decisions because he was shaping and molding his people into what he wanted them to be. God has no faults therefore not only does He do everything perfect, but he makes the perfect choices. Don't ever think you can make a better decision than God.

Numbers 21-25
The Israelites spoke against God and Moses AGAIN, in these chapters. I'm really starting to hate them now. Anyways, this time God used poisonous snakes to kill them but he saved the ones that had faith that God would heal them.

Numbers 16-20
God destroyed everyone who apposed him in these chapters, he did it as a punishment and a warning to others not to question Moses and his authority.
God says in these verses that all authority comes from Heaven therefore we need to obey that authority.
Romans 13:1-7
New International Version (NIV)
Submission to Governing Authorities
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.God says in these verses that all authority comes from Heaven therefore we need to obey that authority.

Numbers 10-15
God gives people everything they need, yet they still distrust Him complain that He doesn't take care if them. This is what happened in these chapters the people were complaining to Moses that they didn't have any food yet God gave them the quail. Sometimes I just hate the human race because of all the sin and foolishness in it, but I am human, I am sinful and foolish and I'm just being proud when I think that stuff.
Numbers 4-9
God separated the Levites from the other tribes of Israel because God wanted the Levites to be more Holy and He wanted them to be his priests and stuff like that. I'm guessing that in the following chapters we will find that the Levites will be more faithful than the other tribes.

Leviticus 26-Numbers 3
When God told Moses to take a census I was immediately glad I wasn't him right there. I did some research and I found that even though the Israelites were in Egypt for only 430 they had been so fruitful that in those years they had grown their people until there were more than 603,000 people. God had really blessed them a lot.

Leviticus 21-25
The bible in these chapters talked about a man who got angry and blasphemed God and took His Name in vain. And God ordered he people to kill that man. And in these days now people take the Lord's Name in vain everyday. I am so blessed to be a Christian and not have to stand before God and be judged for blaspheming His name.

Leviticus 16-20
Today was how God was changing things that the Israelites had been doing in the past like how he wanted all the people who were sacrificing in the wilderness to take the sacrifice to the priests instead. And he made some other laws clear. There was a lot more stuff about how not to curse your parents or else you would be put to death. Sometimes I wonder why God repeats stuff so much, but then I remember that even though God repeated all his rules a lot the people still didn't obey him.

Leviticus 11-15
Pretty much in all of these it was talking about things that God considered unclean and unholy. And since God is perfect these things that the bible was talking about are unclean. But because Jesus came we don't have to stay away from these things or people, now our goal is to help these people because Jesus came to help us when we were unclean.

Leviticus 6-10
Today when I read that Aaron was put in one of the most important positions even after he had made the gold calf and told people to worship it I was kind of angry. But then I remembered how many times God has given me second chances and forgiven me for tons of evil things I've done. God put Aaron there because he wanted to and because he was going to use Aaron to do what He wanted.

Leviticus 1-5
Today's reading was about everything God wanted the Israelites to do when they were giving offerings and stuff. God wanted everything to be how he liked it, because they were his people and they wanted to know God. He didn't show himself to them because they would have died but he did show them a lot about his view of Justice and Fairness.

Exodus 31-35
Today I realized that Moses actually was a very special person, I know he wasn't the best and I don't believe anything like the Jews do but I did read that Moses was the only person that actually ever saw God, at least I think he was. But after Moses saw God his face was radiant the bible says. People were scared of him because he face was bright. God is truly amazing!
