The King Confronts Corruption
Today I was reminded of when Jesus went into the Temple and found the people selling animals inside our Father's House. And he was the only one who confronted this sin. Nobody else dared to attack all these people and drive them out. There were probably many people there because it was like a market place. Do we have enough courage to do this? Do you? Would you be willing to attack a lot of people who enjoyed what they were doing and make them stop? It's easy to say right now when you're in you house and safe that you would do anything for God. But I have to say I don't think I can do it. If you are like me a coward, all we can do is ask God to give us the strength and courage to obey and protect him.

He actually set down, made a whip, (which was probably better than the one matthew has) and then went and cracked it at a bunch of people...
ReplyDeleteI wish I could of been there.
But one day, I Will be able to ask Him all about it.
You know dat's right ;)
ReplyDeleteI can totally see Him there, with everyone running of and screaming, and then standing on a table yelling "Not in My house!"
ReplyDelete"Oh yeah!"
....Or the Jewish equivalent.
